How to Know If Your Business Is Ready for Meta Ads

A business is ready for Meta ads when four things are in place: a proven offer that people already buy, a clear audience you can describe in one sentence, a landing page or funnel that converts organic traffic, and a minimum budget of 1,500 per month sustained for at least 90 days.

    TL;DR

Not every business is ready for Meta ads. Spending money before the foundations are solid is the fastest way to waste a budget. Here are four questions to answer before you turn anything on.

You do not need more traffic. You need readiness.

Most people come to me wanting ads. What they actually need is clarity about whether ads are the right move right now. Ads are an accelerator. If your engine is broken, an accelerator just gets you to the wall faster.

Four questions to answer before you spend money

    1. Does your offer already sell without ads?

If people are buying through referrals, word of mouth, or organic content, your offer has proven demand. Ads can scale that. If nobody is buying yet, ads will not fix the offer. They will just make the learning more expensive.

    2. Does your funnel convert warm traffic?

Send your landing page to ten people who already know you. If none of them take the next step, the page has a problem. Fix it before you send strangers to it.

    3. Is your tracking properly installed?

Meta Pixel. Conversions API. Events configured for the actions that matter. If any of these are missing or misconfigured, the algorithm cannot learn. You are paying for data you cannot use.

    4. Can you commit to 30 days without pulling the plug?

The first two weeks of any campaign are learning. If you judge results on day three and turn everything off, you have not tested anything. You have just spent money. Commitment to the testing window is not optional.

What if the answer to any of these is no?

That does not mean ads will never work for you. It means the timing is not right yet. Fix the foundation first. Then come back.

This is exactly what the first phase of the Amplify Partnership addresses. Before any ads go live, I assess the offer, the funnel, and the tracking. If something is not ready, we fix it. I would rather delay a launch than waste your budget.
